Welcome to the 2013 - 2014 PDF Champions Page for William Black
Date of Event: 06/06/13
Location: New York, NY
Today, June 6, we celebrate PDF's founder, Bill Black's birthday.
In 1957, Bill Black, founder of Chock full o'Nuts, made a donation to begin PDF's work to support research to find the cause(s) of and a cure for Parkinson's. In the years since, it's YOU who has enabled PDF to fund $100 million to fund the work of leading scientists throughout the world and over $42 million to support national education and advocacy programs.
Parkinson’s disease is chronic neurological disease, for which there is currently no cure. But promising research is being conducted.
Every donation really does make a difference in advancing PDF’s mission. Please help honor Bill Black's dream of curing Parkinson's by making a donation today and reaching our Champions goal of $200,000 by next summer.
More than 80 percent of PDF’s funds go directly toward its programs. PDF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all gifts are tax deductible.
Thank you in advance for your support!
