Parkinson’s Disease: A Practical Approach to Evaluation & Treatment for the Physical Therapist is an online course designed by expert physical therapists in the field of Parkinson’s disease to help other physical therapists better understand how to evaluate, treat, and deliver comprehensive care to people living with Parkinson’s.

Who should participate?: This course is designed for physical therapists who want to understand Parkinson’s in order to better care for the growing population of people living with Parkinson's throughout the continuum of the disease
When?: You can view this course online 24 hours a day seven days a week from an Internet-connected computer.
Cost?: Free if no continuing education (CE) is collected. A per module fee is charged when viewing the course on the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) learning center for CE credit.
How: Watch the four sessions that make up the course, each of which is approximately one and a half to two hours in length. Following each session, take a brief exam to test your knowledge of Parkinson’s. After completing all four sessions and exams, you’ll be eligible for up to .8 CEUs. All non-PTs or PTs who do not need CEUs are welcome to just watch the course at your leisure and not take the exams.
