Share: A.C. Weighs In with His Research Priority of Apathy

Which part of living with Parkinson's is most important for researchers to study? For A.C. Woolnough of Sandpoint, ID, the answer is a rarely-discussed symptom — apathy. Apathy, which is a lack of interest or enthusiasm, is a common complaint among people with PD but it hasn't received much attention from research. In an interview with PDF, A.C. says that he included this symptom on his survey for the PDF Community Choice Research Awards, because he wants scientists to find solutions. Will you share your priorities for PD research? PDF is accepting survey submissions until Thursday, April 30.
