Dear Friend of PDF:

Over the last two weeks, Howard and Stephanie have shared why they have a personal stake in PDF’s mission to end Parkinson’s. My story is not unlike theirs, which is why I am joining them and PDF’s Board in matching your gifts for up to at least $100,000.

In the fall of 2003, my brother and I lost our father to parkinsonism. His disease had a tremendous impact on our family.

After our loss, we were determined that no other family would have to go through the difficult journey that we did – and, if they had to, that there would be resources and support available.  So we became involved with PDF.

My family has learned that PDF shares our goals – PDF is at the forefront of funding research for a cure and devotes significant resources to improving the quality of life for those affected and their families.

That is why I’m part of the PDF Board of Directors $100,000 Challenge, which is doubling your impact on these programs until midnight on Tuesday December 31, 2013.

Your gift of $50 will automatically become $100, a gift of $100 becomes $200 and a gift of $500 becomes $1,000!

I feel gratified knowing that my donation combined with yours can impact thousands of families. We are in this together. We have a lot at stake – and so do our families.
